Starseed was able to create reality through dreams. He also somehow lived in dreams (and was glimpsed in someway by dreamers across all of time and space). Through the use of his powers, he was able to visually project his memories, change the Legion of Monsters (Ghost Rider, Werewolf by Night, Man-Thing and Morbius) into their previous selves without their respective curses and place an entire mountain onto Sunset Blvd. with little to no damage to human life and surrounding areas.
Starseed came from a civilization of people from hundreds of thousands of years ago who settled in an unidentified mountain and found peace and quiet. That peace and quiet was shattered when an alien race invaded their mountain and slew their leaders, then using technology to actually abduct the entire mountain. Those who survived the alien attack and were still on the mountain hid deep within it in caves, travelling through space. They waited and finally were able to reclaim their home using the alien's technology against them.
All of the civilization finally perished except for Starseed, who evolved to master a dream-power and became golden and angelic in appearance. He brought the mountain to it's previous home, which was now Sunset Blvd. in Los Angeles.
This attracted the first formation of The Legion of Monsters: Ghost Rider, Werewolf by Night, Morbius and Man-Thing (who saw the mountain from Flordia and was transported as if through a dream to it's location).
Starseed, having come in peace, intended to turn each of the four into their previous identities, removing the curse that each possessed. However, Werewolf by Night, having no real human intelligence and only animal instinct, attacked Starseed as if he were prey. Then Morbius' hunger returned and he attacked as well. Injured, which was something Starseed was unaccustomed to, he became frightened, and those who know fear burn at the touch of the Man-Thing! Ghost Rider was the only one who fought for Starseed and tried to save him. Starseed was too injured however, and before dying, he showed the four how he could have reverted them to their previous states. As he was weak and dying, the dream faded and they all reverted to their normal states.
